Good Questions to ask your child...

Monday, September 9th

Exciting News....the iPads are going home tonight!
Here are a few reminders, consequences, and suggestions:

1. Please leave the charging cord and brick at home. I put your child's name and picture on the brick so it doesn't get mixed up with another family member's brick and cord. There is a replacement fee if it's not returned on the last day of school, assuming you didn't complete the Technology Fee requirements.

2. Please remind your child to bring the iPad to school each day fully (close to fully) charged. It is best to establish a routine for charging the iPad at home. If it continues to come to school with a low battery or a dead battery, we will contact you to set up a period of time where the iPad remains at school so it can be charged overnight and ready for use the next day.

3. Please remind your child that only sites and activities that have been assigned to your child can be accessed or opened while in school. Students that are not accessing the proper and specific sites and locations assigned to them will be asked to keep the iPad at school during the evening hours. Please discuss with your child what sites and locations are appropriate within your household and what consequences exist if  those expectations are not followed. As a consequence for improper home usage, I am willing to keep your child's iPad under lock and key at school for a designate time period where it can only be used during school hours.

Enjoy this technological resource!!!
