Unity Day Shirt – deadline is
September 10th
Together against bullying
— united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
On Unity Days (once per month) we make an extra effort to spread
the message of Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion by wearing ORANGE.
Unity Day dates are listed on the district calendar and are
typically the first Wednesday of each month.
Why Orange?
“ORANGE provides a powerful, visually compelling expression of
solidarity,” said Paula Goldberg, Executive Director of PACER Center. “When
hundreds of individuals in a school or organization wear orange, the vibrant
statement becomes a conversation starter, sending the unified message to kids
to know that they are not alone.”
